1st Sunny Bay All Goa Veterans State Ranking Table Tennis Tournament 2013
Vasco Veterans TT Club very successfully conducted their 1st Ranking Tournament at the Mehta Hall on Sunday, December 01, 2013.
The response was very heartening and all the veterans enjoyed the fellowship and the lunch that followed the finals.
Arun Patil, Prakash Alfonso and Deepak Gopani bagged
the singles titles at the Sunny Bay All
Goa Veterans State Ranking Table Tennis Tournament 2013, organized by the
Vasco Veterans TT Club at the VTTA Mehta Hall on Sunday, December 01, 2013.
The event was sponsored by the Sunny Bay Real Estate
Pvt.Ltd. well known builders and Developers who own the Felicity brand of
quality homes, apartments, shops, etc. in association with the Directorate of
Sports and Youth Affairs & the VTTA.

In the 60+
event, Arun Patil upset top seed Kuldeep Kabadi in the semifinals while
Kashinath Khalap upset 2nd seed Pradeep Borkar in the other
semifinal. In a stirring finals, Arun Patil beat Kashinath Khalap to bag the 60+ title.

seed Arun Naik to win the 50+ singles
title.

Deepak Gopani justified his top seeding winning over
Dinesh Shetty in the 40+ finals.
Nazir Khan was the Chief Guest and Munir Khan, the
Guest of Honour, distributed the prizes to the finalists.
Suresh Verlekar, Chairman TC welcomed and Dinesh Shetty proposed the vote of thanks.
